I work well with an team and also as an individual, I have highly developed communication and social skills which have given me great confidence. I enjoy meeting new people and I think this helps me with improving my listening skills. I have always taken responsibility for what I do and I�m also very reliable, alongside that I am very trustworthy and honest as I think honesty is important. I work with a positive attitude and always have an optimistic mind, I thrive on determination and go to all depths to complete any task I have been set. I started September 2002 and finished May 2007! I was attending Ravensbourne school. There I was studying: Drama Film studies Media studies I however didn�t enjoy going to the school very much and then attend Hillsyde in Sydenham for my second year. Here I done: Film studies Media studies Religious education My A level results came back as: MEDIA:E FILM:E RELIGIOUS EDUCATION:D WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE Ian Stevens hair design (Started: May 2005, Finished: still there) I have been working at this hair dressers for three years in may. I have learnt many different skills and have gained a lot of experience. I have learnt to communicate with many people and discover a deeper understanding in the working industry. Working at the hair dressers I have learnt to: Answer the phone and take appointments Take bills and work the till Wash and dry hair And interact and work well with other workers Apply colours on hair Our Lady And St Phillip Neary (primary school) I worked here for 2 weeks in Yr 10 for work experience. It was a completely different experience from working in a hair dressers but I also gained new skills from it. During these to weeks I leant how to: Communicate with younger children Have one on one time with a child Teach an Easter song that was shown at the Easter service Make wall displays Laminate and correct work It also gave me a better understanding of adults in the teaching world. Teddies nursery Beckenham I have been working here since June 2009. Already I have gained more skills and experience. From the nursery I now have my paedatric first aid certificate. Here I had the duties of: Caring for and showing the children my full attention Working as a large team for the care of the children Serving food and drink at the set meal times Changing nappies and clothes SKILLS PROFILE I have worked in team groups and in many different situations and have always been able to co-operate well and motivate myself and the group to complete the task at hand. After receiving at C grade in my ICT GCSE I now have a high level in computer and office skills. I can speak French at GCSE LEVEL I have good punctuality and attendance as I think its wrong to let people down.
